Our timber comes from an organic farm, where more than 35,000 native trees have been planted over the last 25 years. We are removing non-native tree species and some of the species at risk of disease (Larch and Ash). These trees are perfectly safe for burning and pose no threat to humans. The wood is also unaffected in terms of quality and is only being removed as a precaution. We are managing the trees in a way that will promote biodiversity and create new wildlife habitats.
